The Eagles-Hell Freezes Over (1994)

The Eagles had ceased to exist in the early eighties after their album "The Long Run", a worthy successor to their masterpiece "Hotel California".
"Hell Freezes Over" was the first album 14 years later where the band offered four new songs to which they added material from their first albums recorded live during a special concert for MTV.
The new study material contained two songs composed by Don Henley and Glenn Frey, such as the visceral "Get Over It" and the emotional "Learn To Be Still", the other two unreleased songs were the tender ballad "Love Will Keep Us Alive" by Capaldi and Paul Carrack and the country "The Girl From Yesterday" by Glenn Frey and Jack Tempchin.
The rest was a review of acoustic and rock versions of classics like "Hotel California", "Tequila Sunrise", "Desperado", "Life In The Fast Lane" or "Take It Easy".
The album was taken as a revival by the continuous news about the return of the group that years later would publish their long-awaited new album.
To support the album the band would carry out a tour of the United States which would cause "Hell Freezes Over" to reach number one in the charts and selling more than twelve million copies worldwide.
