Joe Bonamassa is one of the best blues guitarists of today, as a child he was a guitar prodigy and grew up listening to records by Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and the great bluesmen of the time.
His career has been an alternation between the styles of blues and rock, his own compositions and personalized versions, his passion for music in general and his versatility have led him to a career full of tours and albums that have not prevented him from joining different side projects, like the hard rock band "Black Country Communion", or the jazz rock group "Rock Candy Funk Party".
In 2009 he published his seventh album "The Ballad Of John Henry" where swamp rock & blues take over the sound of his compositions, such as the one that gives title to the album or the hard rock "Story Of A Quarryman". blues rock "Last Kiss" and "Lonesome Road Blues" or the energetic "Happier Times".
As is the norm in all his albums there are also moments for versions like the great "Stop" by Sam Brown, "Jockey Full of Bourbon" by the great Tom Waits or the classic "Feelin'Good".
