The Outlaws-Dixie Highway (2020)

After more than 50 years in the business, in 2020 the southern rock band The Outlaws reunited to record a new album titled "Dixie Highway", a name taken from the famous highway that connects Chicago and Miami in the United States. Of the legendary lineup that in the 1970s gave us immortal southern rock classics like "Green Grass and High Tide", "There Goes Another Love Song", "Breaker-Breaker", "(Ghost) Riders In The Sky", and "I Can't Stop Loving You", only guitarist and singer Henry Paul remains. The current lineup is completed by Monte Yoho (drums), Dale Oliver (guitar), Randy Threet (bass and vocals), Dave Robbins (keyboards), Steve Grisham (guitar and vocals), and Jaran Sorenson (percussion). On their seventeenth album, the Florida-based band once again showcases the typical ingredients of Southern American roots rock: driving rhythms, powerful, sharp guitars, melodies brimming with country rock sounds, and exhilarating guitar improvisations. Tracks like the incendiary "Southern Rock Will Never Die", "Slow Down", "Dixie Highway", "Endless Ride", and the heartfelt tribute to departed members, "Heavenly Blues", make up a work that demonstrates the immense power that American roots rock continues to wield throughout the Southern states.

The Outlaws-Bring It Back Alive (1978)

"Bring it Back Alive" is a stunt double for the southern rock band The Outlaws that was recorded during the tour of their album "Hurry Sundown" between 1977 and 1978.
During the tour of that album on October 20 the fateful plane accident took place where several members of the Lynyrd Skynyrd lost their lives. The Outlaws' relationship with them had been very cordial and they were very friendly, so they canceled a week of concerts out of respect.
From that moment until the end of the tour, the Outlaws dedicated words of remembrance to them every night and the song "Green Grass And High Tides".
The album was released in 1978 and perfectly reflected the band's high voltage southern rock with incendiary songs like "Stick Around For Rock & Roll", "Lady In Waiting", the harmonious "There Goes Another Love Songs", the classic of the southern genre "Freeborn Man" the hard-hitting rock "Holiday" or the long and epic "Green Grass And High Tide" that was lengthened in a fantastic seventeen-minute jam of guitar ecstasy.
The album would be hugely successful on the southern-style circuits and on the American Top 20 charts.

The Outlaws-The Outlaws (1975)

The Outlaws are one of the greatest bands of southern rock, formed in 1972, it would not be until 1975, when they published their first and fabulous debit.

Tremendous album of Outlaws. Here meet some of the best songs of the band. A surprising work, full of vitality and compositions as great as "Song for You", "There Goes Another Love Song", and of course, "Green Grass & High Tides", which is undoubtedly the best song of the group, and one of the most prominent southern rock. From the beginning it leaves no one indifferent and, little by little, it is gaining in intensity until some ceaseless and incendiary guitars arrive, essential for every guitar lover.
