Kingdom Come emerged in the late 80s as a consequence of the continuation of the defunct band Stone Fury led by German guitarist Lenny Wolf.
Practically all the members of Stone Fury joined the new project also led by Lenny Wolf, who got a contract with the Polydor record label and published his first honest album in 1988.
This first album gets good sales thanks to the impact of songs like "Get It on" or "What Love Can Be".
However, this first album creates a great controversy in the media for accusing them as clones of Led Zeppelin, due to the influences and the sound tremendously similar to the mythical British band.
Even Ozzy Osbourne and Gary Moore composed the song "Led Clones" which was released on the album "After The War", where they were attacked for their resemblance to the Zeppelin.
In this first album and in the later "In Your Face" the band towards a direct and authentic hard rock, with an elegant and very careful production.
Most of the songs remind us of the hosts of Page and Plant, since they totally sound like that band without falling into the crudest imitation.
In 1996 the band published the album "Live & Unplugged" a kind of review of their most celebrated songs live, plus a second album where the band performed songs in acoustic versions.
Here are the perfect elements for what were considered the successors of Led Zeppelin with a repertoire full of Zeppelian songs with that unmistakable voice of Lenny Wof, which has an amazingly similar range to that of Robert Plant, with a powerful and forceful rhythmic section and some sharp and intense guitars.
