Bob James and David Sanborn joined forces in 1986 to publish "Double Vision", considered one of the best works in jazz fusion.
Recorded in New York has the participation of a great cast of jazz musicians such as Marcus Miller, Al Jarreau, Steve Gadd, Paul Jackson Jr., Eric Gale or Paulinho da Costa.
In addition to entering the Top Ten of pop and R&B, "Double Vision" won the Grammy for best jazz album and a nomination for Al Jarreau for the song "Since I Feel For You".
An album where it is difficult to highlight one theme over another but from the initial and portentous "Maputo" the pieces follow each other, taking us into a fascinating journey through the double jazz allegory of its authors.
