Ted Nugent-"Cat Scratch Fever" (1977)

After his first two sensational albums, Ted Nugent, he released what is undoubtedly his masterpiece and at the same time one of the essential hard rock albums.
"Cat Scratch Fever" was released in 1977 and was the sequel to his debut album "Ted Nugent" (1975) and "Free-For-All" (1976), with these two albums Nugent had managed to be on the cusp of hard rock as one of its greatest representatives.
For "Cat Scratch Fever" Nugent recovered his vocalist Derek St. Holmes who had left his band after his first album, and together with Rob Grange and Cliff Davies they formed a visceral, resounding and explosive band as would be demonstrated shortly after with their fantastic "Double Live Gonzo".
An album that contains powerful rock, rhythmic themes, very addictive and with that characteristic sound of the time, highlighting the theme that gives the album its title or "Workin´Hard Playin´Hard", "Wand Dang Sweet Poontang" or "Thousand Knives" .
"Cat Scratch Fever" achieved a triple platinum record and a high spot in the North American top ten and global sales exceeding four million copies.
