Emerged from the ashes of another of the great cult blues bands such as Dirty Blues Band, at the end of the sixties the singer Rod Piazza founded Bacon Fat and soon they published their first album under the production of the legendary Mike Vernon.
Already in 1971 "Tought Dude" would be released, their second and last album, to later disintegrate the band and continue Piazza on their own.
With a repertoire of great electric blues, and with the addition of Piazza's harmonica, the songs that delight all the great lovers of the genre are succeeding.
From R&B like "Evil", to classic blues like "Leaving On Your Mind", going through country blues "Traveling South" or instrumental blues with approaches to jazz like "Betty", it is an album that listening to it is a pleasure for the ears.
