We are at the end of 1967 and an emerging band called Traffic, publishes its first and huge debut album, thus beginning one of the most surprising careers in the world of rock.
Traffic consisted of Jim Capaldi on drums, Chris Wood on keyboards and saxophones, Steve Winwood on guitars, keyboards and vocals and Dave Mason on bassist, guitar and vocals.
In this first album Traffic showed an innovative style, with touches of highly elaborated pop and psychedelia, all fused with the music hall, echoes of Hindu music and blues rock as demonstrated in fantastic songs like "Heaven Is In Your Mind", "House For Everyone", "Dear Mr. Fantasy" or "Giving to You".
However, despite the success of this album, soon the internal disputes between Dave Mason and Steve Winwood arrive, among other reasons, the jealousy and ego of both musicians, which would lead to the abandonment of Mason, who would return shortly after for the recording of the band's second album.
