Don Henley will be eternally remembered for his agonizing voice on one of the most legendary songs in the history of music such as "Hotel California" by The Eagles group.
His fame precedes him not only for being one of the components of that mythical band but also for his successful solo career with high quality albums where he demonstrated his enormous voice, great compositions and his displays as a musician.
In his solo debut "I Can´t Stand Still" in 1982, he continued the path that The Eagles had left with their "The Long Run", but giving more prominence to the keyboards, with great vocal and harmonic work.
Two years later he left us "Building The Perfect Beast" "in which he solidified those musical terms.
With the collaboration of Lindsey Buckingham, Steve Porcaro, Berlinda Carlisle, Patty Smith, Mike Campbell, David Paich, Randy Newman, Ian Wallace and Pino Palladino, he got this album to reach the top of the charts and also the song "The Boys of Summer" went around the world as a super hit.
It also contained great songs like "All She Wants to Do Is Dance", "Drivin' With Your Eyes Closed", "Not Enough Love in the World" and "Sunset Grill", which demonstrated the talent that Hanley had without his friends from The Eagles.
