AOR-"L.A.Attraction" (2006)

Frédéric Slama is a guitarist, composer, producer and music journalist of French nationality but based in Los Angeles, where for years he has made friends with many of the best musicians on the North American west coast.
Already in the 80s he published several solo albums in the surroundings of the city of Los Angeles, in addition to co-producing some artists also in the California area.
At the beginning of 2000 Slama decided to form the AOR project, which will regularly publish albums with only one regular member, Frédéric Slama himself, and on each new album a series of guest musicians.
After a first album published only as a promotional demo entitled "L.A. Consession", he publishes his second album "Next Stop L.A." where Michael Thompson, Jim Horn or Richard Page, among others, would collaborate.
With this second album, the project and Slama himself acquire great respect in the west coast music scene and that reinforces him to publish one of his most acclaimed works "L.A.Reflection" in 2002, in which he has great musicians from the scene from the west coast and the AOR as the members of Toto; Steve Lukather, Mike Porcaro, Jeff Porcaro and David Paich, as well as Tommy Denander, Michael Landau or Vinnie Colaiuta.
This new work was a resounding success not only in the United States but also internationally.
In 2003 the album "Dreaming Of L.A." it obtained even greater recognition, with stellar collaborations of Steve Overland, Bill Champlin or David Roberts.
From here on, album after album, all of them with considerable success, such as "L.A. Attraction" where Slama hardens the sound towards hard rock, "Journey L.A." a superb work where Fergie Frederiksen, David Williams, Steve Overland or Steve Lukather stood out, or "The Colors of L.A." where the cast of collaborators is even more impressive.
This latest album means the perfect blend of melodic rock and west coast music with exquisite production, great compositions and sublime arrangements.
