Kin Ping Meh-Kin Ping Meh (1971)

Within the innumerable groups that emerged in Germany in the late 60s and early 70s and within the Krautrock scenario Kin Ping Meh would emerge, a group that with a tone far from classic prog rock fused hard rock with symphonic brushstrokes, the group was born in 1970 in Mannheim, Germany. In 71 they toured with The Hollies and in December of that same year they published their first album. During the seven years that they worked they recorded five more albums and opened for Rory Gallagher, Golden Earring, Uriah Heep and Slade among others.

This is the first album of his discography and the sound can remind us of Deep Purple for his duels between the guitar and the keyboards although the vocal treatment is much softer. Perhaps it was "Fairy Tales" with its more than 10 minutes and highlighting its instrumental part its most prominent theme but also stood out. "Don't You Know" and "My Dove".
