Mogul Thrash-Mogul Thrash (1971)

Another one of those thousands of bands that passed without grief or glory were Mogul Trash, who with great quality would barely record an honest album. In 1970 the guitarist James Litherland, who had just left the Colosseum, joined John Wetton and with the collaboration of Brian Auger and a three-component winds section, formed Mogul Trash. Already in 1971 this unique work with clear sounds to Colosseum with tougher guitar touches, the wind section introduces us to a progressive jazz rock. The voice and bass of John Wetton begin to stand out in some of the themes, were the beginnings of his successful musical career. Notable topics would be "Something Sad", "Elegy" and of course "Going North, Going West".
