Karthago-Live at The Roxy (1976)

Double Album shows us the performances of the German band Karthago in Hamburg and at the Roxy in Berlin in January 1976. His music shows us a very solid rock with funk and progressive nuances. Good guitar solos, keyboards, and with percussions very Santana style. On songs like "Rock 'n roll Testament" and especially "We Gonna Keep It Together" they may sound like the Allman Brothers. The atmosphere created in "Thema in C" by the electric piano reminds me of the time of the "Lotus" of Santana. "Highway Seeker (Did Nobody Tell You)" sireve for the showdown of Albrecht (guitar) and in "We Give You Everything You Need" the turn comes to Hartwig (bass), Funk (drums) and Goldschmitt (percussion). As the end of the party the well-known "Going Down" (Freddie King). In short, a great live album.
