Man-Rhinos, Winos and Lunatics (1974)

Among the countless bands that emerged in the late 60s and early 70s, MAN is considered by many to be one of the best British rock groups of all time.
However, we are faced with a new case of a group that did not have the repercussion that due to its music and its enormous quality really deserved. These Welsh began their journey in 1969 and among their influences we can highlight an American band, Quicksilver Messenger Service, including the guitarist of this formation, John Cipollina, became part of MAN
His music high doses of psychedelic rock but its virtue was not to stagnate and move along more elaborate paths, without reaching pure progressive rock. Throughout its history it had different formations, including its leader, Roger "Deke" Leonard, was entering and leaving the formation.
Rhinos, Winos and Lunatics was published in 1974 and was produced by Roy Thomas Baker, producer of Queen, and is the eighth of his career. On the first side we find four themes with beautiful harmonies and a very careful elaboration, "Taking the Easy Way Out Again", "The Thunder And Lightning Kid", "California Silks And Satins" and "Four Day Louise", in all of them show Clearly your influences. On the second side we have more jam songs, even two instrumental songs, "Intro" and "Exit", it is in this part of the album that the members of the group show

their full potential as magnificent instrumentalists.
