The Police-Reggatta De Blanc (1979)

For a few years The Police were cataloged as the greatest band on the planet, exaggerated or not, their popularity levels were so great that there was some truth to it.
With a proposal where the predominant punk of the time, seasoned with rock, reggae sparkles and pop influenced by the new wave, the trio had an intense activity, getting to have their works as the most acclaimed among the public and critics.
Reggatta de Blanc was their second work in which the group would add more elements to their particular style, since it is very varied due to the tastes and personalities of each of its members.
Excellent songs such as Walking On The Moon or the successful Message in A Bottle with that new wave touch, confirmed that this band was very big, although with little tour according to the ego of its components.
