W.A.S.P.-W.A.S.P. (1984)

Sooner or later I was going to have to check one of the greats. One of the BIGGEST: the first album by W.A.S.P. There are essential classic records; so many that it is impossible that we all disliked them. But if this list of classics is not this work, you have to put solution NOW. «Wasp» is one of those albums that, if you haven't heard it, you have no forgiveness. Not at least if you consider yourself a heavy metal lover ...
What a debut marked Blackie Lawless, Chris Holmes, Randy Piper and Tony Richards back in 1984. Not even the passing of the years (today we can talk about decades) is able to wear down the savagery and viscerality that surround this launch. Today, you put the record, and there is still something perverse, something forbidden and provocative in those songs.

Anyway, we are facing one of the most emblematic albums in the history of American metal and rock. One of the guilty records that the famous "Parental Advisory" label had to be created. One of the guilty records that the associations of American parents in the mid-80s trembled at the chilling idea that the kids would take Blackie Lawless as their private teacher (coming to threaten this with mysterious phone calls). Without a doubt, one of the best albums of this, our music.
