In the mid-1970s, Led Zeppelin created his own Swang Song record label, with which the band intended to have almost complete control of all its material to be published and moved away from the pressures of the Atlantic records.
But in addition to the work of Led Zeppelin they also began publishing albums by other artists related to the band such as Bad Company or Detective.
Detective was formed in 1975 in Los Angeles, and among its components, the former Yes Keyboards Tony Kaye and Steppenwolf guitarist Michael MonarchI stood out, they are soon sponsored by Jimmy Page and in 1977 they released their first album, "Detective".
This first Detective album is loaded with good hard rock with influences to Led Zeppelin, four of his songs are produced by Page himself under the pseudonym of Jimmy Robinson.
This first album contained great moments like hard rock with funk touches "Recognition", "Got Enough Love" with a huge touch Bad Company, the zeppelin "Grim Reaper", "Ain't None Of Your Business" and "One More Heartache "or the progressive means" Ain't None Of Your Business "where Kaye made clear winks to her former band Yes.
