Step Ahead-Step Ahead (1982)

Step Ahead was an ephemeral French progressive rock band (not to be confused with the Steps Ahead jazz rock super band founded by Michael Brecker and Mike Mainieri).
With just a few years of activity, this band would publish in 1982 their only and acclaimed album by the European specialized critic.
His style with the hallmark of symphonic rock from the 70s was his most notorious influence, fused with classical influences and the keyboards of the eighties, with very complex layers of semi-classical keyboards and very good work of guitars and voices together.
This unique album "Step Ahead" (1982) has been reissued several times due to its great popularity

This work would be a clear advance to what a few years later would be coined as Neo Progressive.
