For many, the first and only work of the French Sandrose is one of the hidden jewels of the European progressive, a work that is coveted by collectors and that today, in addition to being difficult to obtain, is a disc with a fairly high value.
Sandrose was a great French prog rock band, formed in 1971 by guitarist Jean Pierre Alarcen. The other members of the band were Christian Clairefond on bass, Michel Jullien on drums and Henri Garella on keyboards and Mellotron. Voices were supplied by powerful vocalist Rose Podwojny singing with English lyrics.
In this unique album we can see some beautiful dialogues between the majestic guitar and the splendid keyboard sounds, with excellent melodies illuminated by a powerful but at the same time subtle voice.
