Pallas-The Sentinel (1984)

Pallas is together with contemporary bands such as Marillion, IQ, or Pendragon, part of the neo-progressive rock renaissance in the 80's and his album "The Sentinel" one of the most emblematic works of this genre.
The group's career began in the mid-seventies with performances by clubs and pubs in Scotland and throughout England, until in one of their performances at the London Marquee they managed to sign an anthological performance that would attract the attention of the public and specialized press.
Some time later, Emi Records became interested in the band and some time later they entered the studios to record what would be their first LP, which would be released in 1984 under the subsidiary label of Emi; Harvest.
Conceived as a conceptual work on Atlantis, "The Sentinel" responds to the most typical canons of progressive rock from the 70s together with the new prog sounds of the 80s, melodic themes, with strong sounds that sometimes reach hard rock and doses of symphonism with cosmic aftmospheres
