In the mid-70s, Bob Marley still did not have the fame that he would later acquire worldwide, with only one album published with his solo signature "Natty Dread" and another six with The Wailers, he appeared in London at the Lyceum supporting the mentioned "Natty Dread" on July 18-19, 1975.
Six months later the album "Live!" with a selection of songs belonging to those two nights and which, contrary to the usual at that time, was not released as a double album, but as a single with just seven songs.
On those two nights Bob Marley and The Wailers offered two fantastic performances with a band in good shape and a repertoire full of great songs such as the initial and energetic "Trenchtown Rock", the extensive and incendiary "Get Up, Stand Up" or the wonderful "No Woman, No Cry".
"Live" is an explosive live show, with a totally devoted audience, explosive guitars, contagious choirs and a feeling of revolution on the surface.
From here and as a consequence of the success of those performances and the great reception that this album had, Island Records would reissue with great success the albums "Catch a Fire" and "Burnin´" by The Wailers worldwide.
