Camel-Nude (1981)

By the beginning of the eighties Andy Latimer had taken the absolute reins of Camel and in "Nude" he marks the turning point in the future of the band's career.
"Nude" is conceptually recreated in the true story of a Japanese soldier, Hiroo Onoda, who was found on an island many years after the end of World War II, remaining on that island oblivious to reality for more than thirty years without know it.
"Nude" without reaching the excellence of his top works, is an exquisite work where we find the most commercial Camel´s with songs like "City Life" or "Lies" to the most progressive ones with their classic sound in "Captured", "Docks" or "Beached".
It would also mean the last album of his original drummer Andy Ward, and the first where the lyrics of Susan Hoover, future wife of Andy Latimer, appeared.
