Hot Tuna-Hoppkorv (1976)

At the beginning of the 70s, several members of the Jefferson Airplane wanted to form a parallel band to give free rein to their taste for the blues.
Thus Jack Cassidy and Jorma Kaukonen, began to act as opening act of the own Jefferson Airplane, with the addition of other members of the group of occasional way: Marty Balin and Spencer Dryden.
In 1976 "Hoppkorv", the band's eighth album, was released, where they once again offered that forceful, vibrant and energetic sound.
The powerful "Santa Claus Retreat", the dense "Extrication Love Song" together with the acoustic "Watch The North Wind Rose" left a record where the band exploited its rocker side away from its characteristic folk blues.
