Walpurgis was founded in the early 1970s by Polish and German musicians. During May and June 1972, Walpurgis recorded their first and only album "Queen of Saba" published by the famous German label OHR, at the Dierks Studio in Stommeln, engineered by Dieter Dierks. The band plays a West Coast style mixed with Psychedelic and influenced other Krautrock bands. His music is based on long improvisations mainly on guitar with organ and piano. Walpurgis subsequently did not have a continuation and never published more works in part, due to the disappearance of the OHR seal in 1973.
