UFO-Strangers in the Night (1979)

This mythical double album is considered one of the best live albums of hard rock and heavy metal in history, "Strangers in the night" was recorded in the golden era of UFO and was the climax and end point to it with the Check out Michael Schenker to join Scorpions a second time and ride MSG later.
This live was recorded on his 1978 USA tour in Chicago, Illinois and Louisville, superbly produced by Ron Nevison, shows us a vocalist in top form, Phil Mogg who is a guy who without having a privileged voice happens as for example to Bob Catley, he transmits a lot without the need to squeak or put tremendous treble, apart from being a fantastic sober but great frontman, Pete Way was the stage animal (the truth is that it still is) that visually always needs a Rock band, His work on bass is magnificent. The "multi-employed" Paul Raymond fills all the gaps with his keyboard / rhythm guitar. Andy Parker hits him hard and the genius Schenker leads the sound with his way of playing that amazes everyone his solo guitar in "Only You can Rock me" is anthological.

As for the issues, aAs has said it is a disc without overdubs (?,?)) But the sound is very natural and what to say about "Doctor Doctor", "Rock Bottom", "Natural Thing", " only you Can Rock me "" too hot to handle "or" Love to Love "?, a perfect combination of melody and strength which took good note Rudolf Schenker and Klaus Meine and, thanks to their greater professionalism and luck, they took the lead until they were where we already know. I think the original formula was that of this whole group that could have gone much further if they had held together.
