Top priority ”is the most rock album of the Irish Rory Gallagher, a powerful work, full of strength, with Gerry McAvoy and Ted Mckenna who accompanied him as a power trio for this album. Feeling the force of "Just hit town" or the magic of "Bad penny" leaves no one indifferent. The penetrating voice of Rory in those blues called “Off the handle” and “Keychain”, the murderous riff of “Follow me”, the huge force of “Philby” ... in short, a masterful lesson on why the blues is fundamental in the conception of hard rock. It may be that McKenna's entry helped even more to that incendiary background of runaway force that this Irish disc gives off.
