Over-Nite Sensation would mean the first Frank Zappa album that would reach the charts, as it is also the work of the most accessible and most earthly great musician.
The album contains a series of songs mixed with their typical musical challenges and the lyrics are basically humorous and satire talking about sex, social criticism and other polemic themes.
As always Zappa surrounded himself with the best musicians, in this album a Jean Luc Ponty participated which gave the music a special imprint to the music of Zappa.
