Live! Bootleg is a double live album, which collects live recordings of Aerosmith from 1973 to 1978.
His name was designed this way, to give it a certain pirate character, with hardly any touch-ups in the studio and even with intentional errors in the set list of songs.
By the time this album was released, the band was already established in the United States thanks mainly to capital works such as "Get Your Wings", "Toys In The Attic" or "Rocks", but also as the popularity of Aerosmith was in Increase, internal problems did, mainly derived from drugs, especially by Steven Tyler and Joe Perry.
Even so, the hard rock of this mythical band here does not suffer at all, where songs like "Sweet Emotion", "Last Child", "Black In The Saddle", "Mama Kin" or Walk This Way ", without forgetting the eternal "Dream On", are combined with versions like "Come Together" by the Beatles, "Mother Popcorn" by James Brown or "Train Kept A-Rollin" by the Yardbirds.
"Live Bootleg" is arguably Aerosmith's best live recording, well above the "Classic Live" published in the 1980s or "A Little South of Sanity" in the late 1990s.
