This legendary triple live album was recorded for the most part during the 1972 "Close to the Edge Tour", and released the following year.
It would be the first live album by Yes and the most famous of all, with a cover designed by Roger Dean, in a folding format with four different and individual panels by the British designer, who would soon become an icon of illustrations.
At that time the feeling of buying this overwhelming album was like taking a work of art, both for the music and for the covers, and it was the object of veneration by millions of fans.
Despite the fact that Yes have subsequently released numerous live records, the vast majority of them with better sound, more balanced mixes and more precise and perfect performances, none can be compared to its vigor and energy.
Here is a band that was still taking hold while refusing outright to compromise their artistic vision.
"Close to the edge" is interpreted in its entirety, as well as segments from Rick Wakeman's "The Six Wives of Henry VIII", which was still unpublished at the time,
Other stellar moments are the classic "Siberian Khatru", "I´ve Seen all good People", "And You and I" or "Roundabout".
Progressive Rock in its purest form, is what reflects this sensational album that has gone down in history as one of the best times of the genre.
