Steve Winwood-Arc Of A Diver (1981)

Steve Winwood is considered one of the great pioneers, architects, and geniuses of British pop in the 1960s, especially for his status as a “child prodigy” of music through his R&B startup and subsequent avant-garde work.
Stevie will be the key element of groups like The Spencer Davis Group, Traffic or Blind Faith, three of the greatest British rock bands of all time.
Singer, guitar, keyboard player, lyricist and producer, his restlessness would make him intervene in numerous projects after the separation from Traffic in the mid-1970s.
In 1977, he released his first album "Steve Winwood", which despite high commercial expectations (and which went on to become a double platinum record) only reached number 22 on the Billboard 200 album list.
The "child prodigy" of the 60's, would have to wait until the early eighties to know success as a soloist, with the album "Arc of a Diver" (81), which with a superb quality places him in the American and English rankins, the same as the single "While you see a Chance". This work takes Winwood into the 80s with all its fresh creativity and talent at the service of its constant experimentation.
