Hawkwind-There Is No Space For Us (2025)

In 2025, nearly 60 years had passed since the legendary Hawkwind, one of the most important and influential progressive/space rock bands in history, entered their career. With a lineup that, predictably, was far removed from the one that released their debut in the late 1960s, the group, led by the sole survivor of the original lineup and golden era, guitarist Dave Brook, and supported by Richard Chadwick (drums), Magnus Martin (guitar), Doug MacKinnon (bass), and Tim Lewis (keyboards), recorded their thirty-sixth studio album, "There Is Not Space For Us". On this album, they revisited and reinforced the sound of their previous release, "Stories From Time and Space", which had been released the year before. This new release continues their exploration of lysergic space journeys, filled with rich instrumental passages and a wealth of sonic effects. Tracks like the avant-garde folk "The Outer Regions of the Universe" alternate with others of a more energetic and heavy nature such as "Neutron Stars (Pulsating Light)", the predictable space rock of "Space Continues (Lifeform)" or the progressive country/folk of "There Is No Space For Us".
