Ted Nugent-Spirit Of The Wild (1995)

"Spirit of the Wild" was the only album that American guitarist Ted Nugent released in the 1990s, an excellent record that surprised everyone with its uninhibited and natural style, recapturing the reliability lost in his 1980s albums and returning to his golden era of the 1970s. On this album, the prodigious guitarist is once again joined by his inseparable Derek St. Holmes on vocals, along with Denny Carmassi on drums and Michael Lutz on bass. His aggressive and raw style once again permeates the songs, while he regains his inspiration, delivering brilliant riffs and exhilarating guitar solos. Tracks like the powerful, visceral "Thighraceous", "Wrong Side of Town", "Just Do It Like This", "Heart & Soul", "Primitive Man" and "Fred Bear", recovered the ground lost for years, making it clear why he is one of the wildest and most incendiary guitarists in the history of hard rock.
