This was the album that the closest Kiss fans abhorred to the point of selling for commerciality and succumbing to the disco sound so in vogue in the late 70s.
However, despite the bad reviews, it should be recognized that the band would achieve a decent and sparkling job with a style that perfectly fit with their germinal philosophy, glam and lyrics about love, parties and sex.
"I Was Made For Lovin´You", was undoubtedly where the disco influence would be most noticeable but that would become a classic of the so-called rock album.
The rest of the album is closer to the previous works of the band as the version of the Stones "2000 Man" where Kiss shows us his heaviest power, the calm and sentimental "Sure Know Something", the street rock 'n' Roll "Dirty Livin´", the great "Magic touch" or the festive "Hard Times", gave Kiss the reason with an album that did not betray anyone, just as it should sound at the time it was published, bathed by musical currents around him but with the seal of the essence of Kiss themselves.
