Isaac Hayes-Hot Buttered Soul (1969)

Hot Buttered Soul was the album that forged the legend of Isaac Hayes, a powerful timeless progressive soul work that reflects the inexhaustible talent of this genius.
To his delicious base of calm soul, he added orchestral arrangements, guitars full of psychedelic fuzz and sounds of Hammond, all together with Hayes' deep voice of sexual depth.
An overwhelming work that demonstrates the great personality in themes such as the exalted and initial Walk On By or his particular sodomized version of the country theme that Johnny Rivers popularized; By The Time I Get To Phoenix.
This work would be completed with another of his great achievements such as the enormous Black Moses published some time later.
