Saxon-Wheels Of Steel (1980)

Saxon was one of the three bands that led the movement that was called New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (the other two were Iron Maiden and Def Leppard), however they did not have the same recognition as the two previously mentioned, partly due to a series of bad decisions that would relegate them to the background unfairly.
In 1980 they released their second album and one of their great works, considered by many to be one of the fundamental records of heavy metal.
Here they would already define their sound in an overwhelming way, with memorable songs like Motorcycle Man, one of the movement's great hymns.
Also songs like Freeway Mad or Wheels of Steel showed us a band that also knew how to compose epic and powerful songs, forming a superb work of great heavy metal.
