Return To Forever-Romantic Warrior (1976)

"Romantic Warrior" was Chick Corea's first foray into rock, after his first album against the Return To Forever began with more acoustic sounds and Brazilian rhythms.
This electric and baroque album is the perfect example of that jazz rock stage of the band.
Choosing the medieval theme (with a cover of tremendous beauty), the four components of the group, all of them of sublime category, improvising and imaginative experts, let themselves be carried away by the energy of rock and leave us with a series of compositions that leave us speechless the first listen.
In addition to Corea, it is composed by Al Di Meola, Stanley Clarke and Lenny White who together unleash their great creativity, where there are compositions by all of them, highlighting the fast-paced "Medieval Overture", the funk of Meola "Majestic Dance" or the theme that gives the album its title, a standard of jazz rock, an album that deserves the category of masterpiece.
