Free-Fire And Water (1970)

Free would sign in the early 70s one of the most magnificent blues rock albums in memory.
Without a doubt his best work, which in itself is almost impossible to catalog due to the excellence of his other works.
This album would emerge thanks to the maturity germinating in the transit of its first two albums, culminating here in a spectacular way.
With a clean and much more consistent sound, leaving behind the experimentation and the progress made previously and with the addition of a great advance in terms of compositional quality.
Also on the album is one of the songs that are legendary in rock such as All Right Now, number one in several countries worldwide and a classic song.
The rest of the album shows us the qualitative homogeneity with a band in full evolution in both maturity and inspiration.
Songs such as Fire and Water, Mr Big or Heavy Load ... are all good examples of that privileged six-string that was Paul Kossoff, where he transmitted pure feeling, in addition to the masterful voice of Paul Rodgers and a perfect rhythmic base that formed a perfect group.
