Anthony Phillips-The Geese And The Ghost (1977)

Almost seven years after leaving the band Genesis, Anthony Phillips released his first solo album, The Geese and The Ghost, which is widely criticized and very well received by the public.
His ex-groupmates Mike Rutherford and Phil Collins, among other reputed musicians, collaborated on this album.
A work dominated by medieval and Elizabethan airs, classical, acoustic and electric guitars with 6 and 12 strings, pianos and other string instruments such as bouzouki.
Instrumental pieces such as the masterful Henry: Portraits From Tudor Times with its six parts and The Geese and the ghosts parts 1 and 2, the latter composed as a duo with Rutherford give a clear essence and magnitude of the potential of this formidable symphonic progressive rock work
