The Eagles-Hotel California (1976)

This is one of the most legendary, amazing and best-selling rock albums. An album product of the logical evolutionary process that the group was experiencing in those years.
Here they reach the peak of their creativity and demonstrate their great mastery as musicians and composers.
However, who really benefited from this album would be its drummer and main vocalist Don Henley, who ends up becoming the leader of a band which already had all its members to some indisputable geniuses.
It is an album where beauty, delicacy and darkness would make it very special.
From the supposed satanic references of the song that gives the album its title, to the exquisite New Kid in Twon, everything in it is at times integrative and attractive.
As for the production and the sound, here they reach almost perfection where the instrumentation is polished to the maximum unimaginable and the style is approaching pop at times, although of course while still sounding completely at its folk and country roots ... in definitive an absolute masterpiece
