Boston-Third Stage (1986)

In 1986 Boston (more specifically its founder and leader Tom Scholz), had won its legal war against the CBS company, a confrontation that would take six years of litigation.
Once finalized in contract with the CBS, it would be the MCA the one that would publish the new and third work of the band titled Third Stage.
In this album the band closed its golden stage and kept its great surround sound strong based on powerful and melodic guitars, great choirs and vocal performances as well as memorable and anthological guitar solos, in addition to an exquisite production.
It had three magnificent singles, the power ballad Amanda, which would reach number one on the charts, We´re Ready a great hard rock song, and the fantastic Can´tcha Say-Still In Love where Brad Delp excels overwhelming.

In general, the entire album is an outstanding work with notable themes such as Cool the Engines, or Hollyann that sometimes recalls the classic More Than a Feeling.
