Weather Report-"Black Market" (1976)

"Black Market" was Weather Report's sixth studio album, released in 1976, it differs from the band's previous works by being a more accessible and friendly work, far from experimentation, long improvisational passages and complex structures.
With a touch of world music, (already started on the previous album "Tale Spinnin ' "), it has influences on African and even Mediterranean music with a lot of percussion dominating the album.
It is also the first album where Jaco Pastorius appears, playing the bass on various songs, one of them by his own authorship; "Barbary Coast".
In "Black Market" also other musicians appeared that completed the new formation; Alex Acuña, Narada Michael Walden, and Chester Thompson, who along with Wayne Shorter, Alphonso Johnson and Joe Zawinul, completed the roster of the new Weather Report.
"Black Market" is alongside "Heavy Weather" the most acclaimed Weather Report albums and two jazz rock standards.
