Blue Cheer-Vincebus Eruptum (1968)

Blue Cheer are an iconic hard rock and psychedelic rock band that in 1968 released their incendiary debut album "Vincebus Eruptum".
An album with a muddy guitar style with a lot of energy and rawness in all its songs, from Eddie Cochran's masterful version "Summertime Blues" to the hypnotic psychedelic "Rock Me Baby" passing through the blues rock "Parchment Farm" or "Out Of Focus", ending with a visceral "Second Time Around".
Despite the undeniable quality of Blue Cheer, the comparisons with Cream ended up taking their toll on not sounding as elegant as Eric Clapton's band.
Even so, they were active until 1971, to later meet every so often until 2007 when they published their last work, the meritorious "What Doesn't Kill You ...".
