J.J.Cale-5 (1979)

There are great records that for whatever reason were undervalued or forgotten by the public and the specialized press, and in many cases time has even placed them among the highest not only of their author but also of history.
One of those records is "5" by J.J.Cale released in 1979 and which hardly had an impact at the time, a curiously time when his most advanced students, the Dire Straits, managed to do exactly what he did on this record unsurpassed musical purity and elegance.
An album that has songs like "I'll Make Love To You Anytime" or "Thirteen Days" deserves much more consideration than it did in those years, an album as great as the genius of J.J.Cale.
