Roger Hodgson-Hai Hai (1987)

With "Hai Hai" Roger Hodgson completely abandoned the sound of Supertramp to enter different sounds more in line with the times in which it was published.
Here there are less commercial songs but without neglecting their composing quality, although nevertheless there are approaches to prog rock like "Land Ho", the rest is full of affordable sounds like "London" that could have perfectly belonged to an album like "Breakfast In America", the rhythmic and melodious "Who's Afraid", or the hypnotic "Desert Love".
With this album Hodgson wanted to make it clear that he did not want to be behind such a heavy burden as was his former band and its historical legacy.
