Whitesnake-1987 (1987)

"1987" would be the creative and commercial peak of Whitesnake, but also the later beginning of its decline with a very standardized sound and a predictable rock.
Until this album, the band had immersed themselves in blues-based sounds and a certain dose of boogie-rock, combining the influences of bands like Deep Purple (something logical since three of its members belonged to that band) or Led Zeppelin.
But from this new album the band is updated to more modern sounds, with a style according to the 80s without neglecting wisdom and experience, marking a style that would influence many later bands.
In this album is the culmination of all his influences, as can be heard in the zep "Still Of The Night", the powerful ballad "Is This Love" or the melodic "Give Me All Your Love", "Crying In The Rain", or the stale and superb "Here I Go Again".
