Phil Collins-But Seriously (1989)

In the 80's Phil Collins was immersed in multiple projects that ended up going ahead with a triumphant success, so in 1986 after his tour of the album "No Jacket Required", he entered the studio to record the successful "Invisible Touch" with his band Genesis, after the world tour to support this album, would enter the TV screen to act in series like "Miami Vice", or in the cinema with movies like "Buster", in addition to composing the theme for said film " Groovy Kind Of Love ", with which he would get another number one worldwide.
In 1989 he would record his album "… But Seriously", which for many is his masterpiece, and for which he would reign the charts that year.
From the initial and partying "Hang In Long Enough", to the glorious and epic "Find A Way to My Heart", Collins would manage to stay on the cusp of Pop Rock indisputably.
The rest of the album is simply masterful with songs that have passed into his classic repertoire such as the addictive "Something Happened On The Way to Heaven", the complex "Colors", the epic "I Wish It Would Rain" with an immeasurable Eric Clapton to the guitar, the iconic "Another Day in Paradise" or the progressive "Saturday Night and Sunday Morning".
The album became his second best-selling album with more than 8 million copies around the world.
