Mike and The Mechanics-Mike and The Mechanics (1985)

In the mid-80s, the members of Genesis, took a break and dedicated themselves to their solo careers, so while Tony Banks worked on the composition of the soundtrack "Soundtracks", Phil Collins published his third album "No Jacket Required "and finally Mike Rutherford founded the Mike and The Mechanics project with Paul Carrack and Paul Young.
In 1985 they debuted with the album entitled "Mike and Te Mechanics" where they offered a wise mix of very sophisticated pop and rock, an exquisite production and compositions full of great choruses and irresistible melodies.
This first album was a great success and several of the singles reached the top of the charts in North America: "Silent Running" and "All I Need Is a Miracle", likewise the ballad "Taken In" also tasted the honeys of the success ranking high on the charts.
From here on the project was consolidated with regular recordings of the highest quality that would give more successes and a stable musical career.
