Whitesnake- Live...In The Heart of the City (1980)

Another of the great live doubles in history, which although recorded in 1980, retains the greatness of the live shows of the previous decade.
This live album is divided into two distinct parts, recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in London in the 1978s and 1980s.
With a repertoire that brought together the best of a band that had only two years of experience with only three albums, Trouble (1978), Lovehunter (1979) and Ready an´Willing (1980).For 80 minutes Whitesnake delights us with a marvelous demonstration of that hard rock and blues rock, which only they presumed to do like no other band in the late 70s.
Songs like the stupendous rockers "Come On", "Sweet Talker", "Walking in the Shadows of the Blue" or "Love Hunter" are mixed with versions of Deep Purple, such as "Mistreated" or "Might Just Take Your life "both from the album" Burn "(1974), or the Bobby Bland blues" Ain't no Love in the Heart of the City ".
In this album Whitesnake was formed by his most classical band, with Coverdale on vocals supported by two great guitars such as Bernie Marsden and Micky Moody, the mythical Jon Lord on keyboards and a devastating rhythmic section such as the myth Ian Paice as drums and a huge Neil Murray on bass.
